This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you book Ujjain Simhastha Kumbh 2028 or Nashik Simhastha Kumbh 2027 tents through http://kumbhindia.com. This policy complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Information Technology Act 2000, and SPDI Rules 2011.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required for Kumbh mela booking and government compliance:

  • Personal Information: Full name, age, gender, mobile number, email address
  • Identity Proof: Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, or Driving License for police verification as mandated by MP Govt/Maharashtra Govt for Kumbh mela entry
  • Booking Details: Tent type, check‑in/check‑out dates, number of guests, special requests
  • Travel Information: Train number, PNR, flight details for pickup/drop service from Ujjain Junction, Nashik Road Station, Indore Airport, Mumbai Airport
  • Payment Information: Transaction ID, payment mode, booking amount. We do not store card numbers, UPI PIN, or CVV. All payments processed via Razorpay/PayU secure gateway
  • Special Category Data: Dietary/medical info only if you request diabetic meal, wheelchair access, or senior citizen assistance

2. Purpose of Data Collection

Your personal data is used solely for:

  1. Confirming tent booking and issuing e‑voucher for Kumbh 2028/2027
  2. Mandatory police verification for entry into Kumbh mela zone at Ujjain/Nashik
  3. Arranging shuttle service from station/airport to camp
  4. Sending booking confirmation, camp instructions, and Kumbh date updates via SMS/WhatsApp/Email
  5. Providing satvik meals, medical aid, and other camp services during Simhastha

We do not use your data for any purpose other than Kumbh booking and mela services.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

As per Kumbh mela security guidelines issued by District Administration:

  • Government Authorities: Guest details shared with MP Police, Maharashtra Police, Ujjain/Nashik District Office, and Kumbh mela Control Room for verification
  • Service Partners: Only booking details shared with shuttle vendors for pickup coordination
  • Payment Gateway: Transaction data shared with Razorpay/PayU for payment processing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • All data stored on encrypted servers located within India as per DPDP Act 2023 Section 7
  • SSL 256‑bit encryption used on http://kumbhindia.com for all bookings and payments
  • ID proof copies deleted within 90 days after Kumbh mela concludes, unless retention required by government
  • Access to data restricted to authorized Kumbh India staff only
